Setting Email Notification Preferences on the Web

  1. Enter your dashboard by choosing a location/establishment

  2. In the top right corner, click on your name and select Profile

4. Click on Edit User Info in the top right corner:

5. Check that the email address at which you’d like to receive notifications is in the Contact Info field:

6. If you want to receive email notifications, toggle the button ON:

NOTE: If emails notifications are off, they will still be sent for items that you have been assigned, or that you assigned to others. Tasks, Safety Audits, Trainings, etc. -- you will still receive the appropriate notifications for these. The email notifications in the categories are for additional notifications you would like to receive for the location(s) you have access to.

7. In the Group/Establishment box, you can choose which location(s) you'd like to receive notifications for. In the Area box, you can choose which area within the location(s) you'd like to receive notifications for.

NOTE: Areas are not always used, so if there are none listed, it means there are no areas in the group/establishment(s) that you have selected.

  • To add new selections, click the drop-down menu and check the box.

  • To remove selections, either un-check the box while in the drop-down menu, or simply click the X on the main page.

8. The rest of the boxes are for the types of incidents/observations/etc. - review the available notifications in the drop-down menu of each of the category boxes, and leave any that you want to receive checked:

8. Once you have made any changes to this page, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom to save your changes. You will receive a Saved Successfully notification at the top of the page:

Setting Push Notification Preferences on the Mobile App

  1. Open the iReportSource mobile app and sign in

  2. Click on the Menu icon and choose Profile:

3. Click the toggle button to move it to the right where it says Push Notifications:

You will automatically receive these notifications for action items assigned to you (i.e. tasks, safety trainings, safety audits, etc.) but you also have the option to opt in to additional notifications, based on your permission level in the app. If you have the categories below, click on them and choose which notifications you’d like to receive on your mobile device:

  • NOTE: The first two drop-down menus allow you to choose which group(s)/establishment(s) and area(s) you receive notifications for through the mobile app. The rest are for individual incident/observation types you can choose settings for (supervisor level users and higher):

Receiving and acting upon push notifications

  1. When you receive notifications, they will pop up on your phone or tablet screen:

2. Click on the notification, and it will take you directly to the login screen for iReportSource. You can use your login credentials or a stored fingerprint/face ID if applicable to your device:

3. After signing in, you are taken to the item from the notification you received. For example, an incident notification will take you to the details of the initial report, while a safety training notification will take you to where you can begin reviewing the instructions and materials for the training:
