Audits can be either assigned to a QR code, or assigned to employees. By using the QR code, you don’t have to assign to anyone -- it gets auto-assigned to the person who scans the QR code within their iReportSource app. See this article for beginning an audit with a QR code.
Creating a QR Code for an Audit
NOTE: Creating a QR code using the instructions below works the same way for Safety Audits, Quality Audits, and Lockout Tagout Procedures. The example used will focus on Safety Audits.
Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login
Access your dashboard
Click on Audits followed by either Safety Audits or Quality Audits:
4. Click Page Actions -> Create Safety Audit (or Quality Audit if that was chosen):
5. Choose the Group or Establishment and Safety Audit Template (or Quality Audit Template) from the drop-down menus:
6. For the Schedule, choose Scan on Demand, then hit Create:
7. You are taken back to the Safety Audits (or Quality Audits) page. From here, click on the On Demand tab to view any QR codes that have been created:
8. From here, you can click on Download QR Code to download a PDF with the QR code to print.
9. Now you can print/save your QR code and use it however you’d like! Print it on a sticker and place it on or near a piece of equipment, keep it on a laminated sheet with the supervisors, etc. Any time an employee scans the code, they are auto-assigned the audit for completion.

Assigning a Safety/Quality Audit on the Web
Audits are checklists that you can assign to any active user for completion. This document walks through how to use the web platform to assign an Audit.
NOTE: The process is the same for Safety Audits, Quality Audits, and Lockout Tagout Procedures. The example below focuses on the Safety Audit.
Assigning the Audit
Sign in to your account at https://www.ireportapp.com/login
Click into your dashboard
From your Home Page, select Audit at the bottom of the page
A pop up will appear. Choose which Audit type you wish to create an assignment for: Safety or Quality.
4. You will be taken to the appropriate audit page. Click on Page Actions -> Create Safety Audit in the top right corner:
5. Depending on the location you entered your Home Page from, you may be asked to choose a Group/Establishment and/or a Project. Choose the one you’d like to associate with this Audit:
6. In the Safety Audit Template (or Quality Audit) drop-down menu, choose the audit you’d like to complete. (NOTE: These templates are added for your organization -- if you don’t see the one you’re looking for, please contact your Safety Professional).
7. You have three options for scheduling your Safety Audit:
Immediately: A one-time assignment where you choose a due date and the assignee(s) responsible for completing the assessment.
Repeating: Allows you to choose a frequency for the Safety Audit to be automatically assigned. For example, if you have a monthly audit, you could assign it once and it will be automatically assigned every month to the assignee(s) you choose (this can always be edited later as needed).
Scan on Demand: Creates a QR code for the Safety Audit/location combination you chose. You do not need to assign to anyone - it will auto-assign when they scan the QR code with the QR Scanner inside the iReportSource mobile app menu. Please see this document on QR code usage for more details.
8. If you chose option a or b above, you’ll be asked a couple more questions -- due date, frequency (if repeating), and assignee(s). Fill out the fields appropriately. Once all required fields are completed, the Create button will activate and you can click to Create the Safety Audit:
NOTE: If you are assigning to a group, be sure to check the box for "Assign Individually" if needed. If left unchecked, the assignment will be treated as a group assignment, and the first to submit the audit will submit it for all assignees. If you need to assign to multiple individuals, be sure to check this box!
You have successfully created and assigned your Audit!
If you assigned it as immediate, the assignee(s) will receive their notification of the task being assigned to them immediately. If assigned as a repeating Safety Audit, they will receive a notification the next time it is due to be assigned (in the example above, the 1st of the following month).
Employees will be notified according to their notification settings (via email if we have an email for them, or via mobile pop-up notification if they have them enabled) each time they are assigned an Audit, and this will appear on their My ToDos List.

Reassigning a scheduled, repeating Audit
If you need to reassign the scheduled, repeating audit for whatever reason, please follow these steps.
1. Login like normal and go to home page of the Group/Establishment or Company Level where the audit you will be reassigning is located.
2. Go to Audits -> Safety Audits (or Quality Audits).
3. Under the Repeating Tab, choose the repeating audit assignment you wish to reassign.
4. Choose the new assignee and hit Save once done. This assigned, repeating audit will now assign to the new user on it's next scheduled assignment date.
NOTE: If you cannot find your assignee, then you must check that they have access to the Group/Establishment the audit is assigned/created through.
NOTE: If you are assigning to a group, be sure to check the box for "Assign Individually" if needed. If left unchecked, the assignment will be treated as a group assignment, and the first to submit the audit will submit it for all assignees. If you need to assign to multiple individuals, be sure to check this box!
