How to give Supervisors Permission to ALL Incidents in their Assigned Establishments

By default, supervisor users are given view/edit access to the investigation and action stage of incidents only when they are either the creator of the incident report, or they are chosen as the supervisor of the involved employee. Organizations do have the option to add supervisors to a list to allow them access to all incidents that are submitted in the establishment(s) they have access to, even if they don't create them or are not chosen as the involved employee's supervisor. This article shows the steps for adding supervisors to this list.

NOTE: Only administrator users have permissions to add/remove supervisors from the list.

NOTE: This will only impact incident reports created AFTER adding the supervisor users to this list.

  1. Log in on the web at https://ireportapp.com/login

  2. From the Home page, click on the Settings menu and choose Company/Division:

3. Click the Edit button in the top right corner:

4. Locate the question titled Supervisors with access to all Incidents in their Group/Establishments. This is a drop-down menu. Use the search box or scroll the list, and check the box next to any supervisor user you'd like to give these permissions to:

5. Click Update at the top of the page to save changes.

After this point, the selected supervisor users will have view/edit access to the Investigation and Action stage for any newly submitted incidents. It will not give them access to any incidents already submitted prior to them being added to this list (see note at the beginning of this article).
