Currently, users are able to create/complete Incidents, Audits and Safety Walks while offline.
IMPORTANT: In order to use offline, you must opt in on your mobile device. To do this, go to the profile and toggle the Cache files for offline use button ON:
After this is turned on, you will have all current audits assigned to you, audit templates available to complete, and the employee list downloaded. This will refresh every time you log in while having a connection.
IMPORTANT: If you are in an area with no connection or a known spotty connection, put your device in airplane mode while working in iReportSource for best results. This will stop you from going in and out of offline mode and allow you to complete the audit or safety walk without interruption.
When you are offline, you will be shown a message indicating what you're able to do:
Safety Walks
You can create and complete a Safety Walk as you normally would
You can add hazards and bravos
You can assign corrective actions
All information is uploaded when you are back online
Audits
You can complete any audits already assigned to you from your ToDo list like you normally would
You can begin an Audit on Demand and choose from any templates that existed the last time you logged in
You cannot use QR codes to begin Audits
You can add notes, photos, and assign corrective actions as you normally would
All information is uploaded when you are back online
Lockout/Tagout Procedure
You can complete any LOTO Procedure already assigned to you from your ToDo list like you normally would
You can begin an LOTO Procedure on Demand and choose from any templates that existed the last time you logged in
You cannot use QR codes to begin LOTO Procedures
You can add notes, photos, and assign corrective actions as you normally would
All information is uploaded when you are back online
Incident Reports
You can create any incident report as you normally would
You can take pictures through the app or upload photos from your gallery
You can add diagrams
All information is uploaded when you are back online
After coming back online, you'll see a message indicating that the upload is being completed - it may take some time depending on how many photos you took, and will disappear when it is complete. Do not leave or close the app while this upload is taking place.
