Witness Statements are able to be assigned immediately to those identified as witnesses through an initial incident report. Because they are automatically assigned by the system, they are not considered the same as a Task. For this reason, we have created a Witness Statements menu where you can view them all at one time, and send reminders to as many as you'd like with just a couple clicks!

  1. Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login

  2. Access your Home Page

  3. Click on Incidents > Witness Statements from the menu:

4. All Witness Statements are displayed. Use the columns to filter by Status, Incident Type, Assignee, etc. to see just the ones you'd like on the list.

NOTE: For sending reminders, you'll want to select only Open and In Progress from the Status column:

NOTE: You can click on the row for any Witness Statement to view it, change the due date, etc. just like you can when you access it from within the Incident Investigation.

5. Check the box next to the statement(s) you'd like to send reminders for:

NOTE: If you have more than 10 listed after selecting your filters, and you want to select ALL for sending reminders, make sure you choose All Rows from the drop down box or it will only send reminders to the 10 on the page you're currently viewing:

6. Click List Options and then choose Send Reminder:

7. If any user(s) you selected do not have an email address on their profile, you will receive an error message letting you know the reminders could not be sent. Otherwise, you will receive a Reminder(s) Sent Successfully message:
