NOTE: Only administrator users have the ability to add/edit safety training templates.

Creating a Training Template

  1. Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login

2. Enter your dashboard, then from the menu on the left select Training > Training Templates.

4. To create a new template, click on Page Actions in the upper right corner and select Create Training Template

5. You will then be taken to the template creation page. You will be able to add:

  • Template Title (NOTE: Please be concise and consistent with training titles for Analytics purposes)

  • Category (indicate if the training is OSHA Required, Compliance related, Optional, or Other)

  • Instructions (This displays to employees while they are taking the training)

  • YouTube Links (Allows you to link to YouTube videos using their URL)

  • Upload Training Materials (Allows you to upload your own content - any file type is accepted -- doc, PDF, PPT, mp4, etc.).

  • Minimum time spent on materials: Add a whole number here to show how many minutes trainees must spend reviewing the material if this is assigned as an online training.

  • Quiz: Choose an already-created quiz templates, or click Create New Quiz to create one now. You can click Preview Quiz after adding the quiz to see the questions and correct answers.

  • Approval Flow: If you want to have a specific user confirm that the training was done successfully, mark this box. Approvers are selected when the training is assigned.

  • Training Expires: Check this box for trainings that expire, and give the number of days/weeks/months/years after completion they will expire.

  • Immediately Reassign if Assignee(s) Fail: This option, when checked, will allow the system to automatically reassign online training if the employee exhausts all attempts at the quiz without achieving a passing score.

5. When finished, click Create:

Editing a Training Template

  1. Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login

2. Enter your dashboard, then from the menu on the left select Training > Training Templates.

3. Find the template you'd like to edit, and click on it:

4. Once you have selected the training template you wish to edit, you will be taken to the template creation page. Click on the Edit Template button in the top right corner.

5. You will be able to edit all sections of the training template. Once you are satisfied with your changes, click the blue Save button at the bottom of the page.

Duplicating a Training Template

Duplicating a training template is useful if you need to have a very similar template with minor changes. This allows you to copy an existing template, make your changes, and save it as a separate template.

1. Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login

2. Enter your dashboard, then from the menu on the left select Training > Training Templates.

3. Click Page Actions and then choose Duplicate Training Template:

4. Choose which template you want to copy from the drop-down menu, and click Create:

5. You are taken to the Template Creation page with all of the information pre-populated based on the original template you selected. Make any changes you would like to, and then click Create. This will finalize your copy of the training and result in a separate template.

Archiving a Training Template

1. Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login

2. Enter your dashboard, then from the menu on the left select Training > Training Templates.

3. Check the box(es) next to the template(s) you wish to archive and click List Options -> Archive Templates.

Your templates are now archived! You can view archived templates by going into Archived tab at the top of the page

Deleting a Training Template

1. Log in on the web at https://www.ireportapp.com/login

2. Enter your dashboard, then from the menu on the left select Training > Training Templates.

3. Find the template you'd like to delete, and click on it:

4 . Once you have selected the training template you wish to edit, you will be taken to the template creation page. Click on Page Actions -> Edit Template.

5. Click Page Actions again, but this time click on the Delete Template button:

6. The system will ask you to confirm you'd like to delete the template. If you are sure, click Delete and it will be removed from the templates page:
